Successes Made in Production of Medical Appliances​

Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers at the Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory in the DPRK scored success in the production of various kinds of medical appliances of good performance.

President Kim Il Sung personally chose the site for the factory and named it. And Chairman Kim Jong Il made the factory discharge its mission and duty for the improvement of the people's health, while seeing its products.

Intending to effect a turn in the country's medical appliances industry and public health work with the factory, which is associated with the warm love of the President and the Chairman for the people, as a model, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the factory many times so as to set an ambitious goal for modernizing it and resolved all the problems preferentially.

The factory, which was upgraded as a model of the medical appliances industry under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea, developed more than 50 kinds of new products in the last few years alone and produced thousands of pieces of medical equipment and medical appliances to send them to curative and preventive organs.

Officials and employees at the factory are dedicating all their wisdom and enthusiasm to the production of modern medical equipment and appliances in larger numbers which will make a substantial contribution to the protection of the people's lives and to the promotion of their health.
