Efforts Focused on Timber Production in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau in the DPRK is working hard to produce timber to be sent to the capital city for its overall construction work.
The workers of the Phungso Forestry Station are making collective innovations and registering good production results every day.
The Sochang and Richondong forestry stations are carrying out their daily timber production plan by concentrating all efforts and making efficient use of transport means.
Workers of the Tokrip Forestry Station have introduced efficient felling methods to suit the conditions of the felling areas and raised the proportion of mechanized felling operations, thus increasing the amount of felling per hour.
Workers of the Kapsan Forestry Station have opened up dozens of kilometers of new roads to support production and transported more timber than scheduled, while ensuring the operation of vehicles at full capacity and the safety of their operation.
The maintenance shops of forestry and pit timber production stations have also produced enough accessories by tapping internal reserves and carried out mobile repair of vehicles and equipment in field to contribute to the production of timber for the construction of the capital city.
