Korean-style Caustic Soda Production Process Established
Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- The Electronics Institute of the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK established a caustic soda production process of Korean-style.
This process, based on the method of hydrolytic electro-dialysis, consumes less electricity and requires lesser production area and cost than the previous method. And it is pollution-free in the course of production.
The new caustic soda production process was introduced into Kangnam County of Pyongyang City, which turns out caustic soda and hydrochloric acid allowing the production of various products.
Scientists of the institute are pushing ahead with the work to introduce this production process into the whole country.
