Birthday Spread Given to Centenarian​

Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- The number of centenarians is on the increase in the DPRK. Thanks to the popular policies of the socialist state, they are living a happy life free from diseases.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kang Jong Ryol, a woman centenarian living in Suphung Workers' District, Sakju County, North Phyongan Province, the DPRK.

Kang expressed her thanks to him for sending the birthday spread.

Officials of the Sakju County Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea visited Kang's house to offer congratulations to her, who had devotedly worked at the Suphung Power Station for decades and, even after becoming a pensioner, had striven to contribute to the economic life of the country.

Saying that our socialist system is the best, she asked officials to more faithfully uphold the leadership of Kim Jong Un making painstaking efforts for the people night and day.
