Land Management Brisk in Kangwon Province
Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- The officials and working people of Kangwon Province of the DPRK are turning out in the land management.
In recent two months they improved roads extending 200 km, dredged river-beds of 550 000 cubic meters, embanked riversides of 25 000 square meters with stones and built anti-tidal dykes.
They planted 17 million trees of good species during the spring tree-planting period.
Tree nurseries produced tree seedlings in time and working people, youth and students and inhabitants planted trees with much care.
The province set up the development-oriented stratagem for land management, arranged large and small rivers and improved the security and cultural practice of roads.
