Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- The officials and working people of Kangwon Province of the DPRK are turning out in the land management.

In recent two months they improved roads extending 200 km, dredged river-beds of 550 000 cubic meters, embanked riversides of 25 000 square meters with stones and built anti-tidal dykes.

They planted 17 million trees of good species during the spring tree-planting period.

Tree nurseries produced tree seedlings in time and working people, youth and students and inhabitants planted trees with much care.

The province set up the development-oriented stratagem for land management, arranged large and small rivers and improved the security and cultural practice of roads.
