Campaign for Protecting Crops from Drought Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- A campaign for protecting crops from drought is progressing apace in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.
Officials of the province are scrupulously conducting the organization, guidance and command over the farming in keeping with switching over from the state epidemic prevention system to the maximum emergency epidemic prevention system, and pushing ahead with the work as planned to prevent crops from drought.
After learning about the situation of every field, the province took timely measures to swiftly mobilize manpower, means for transporting water and pumping equipment.
Public officials of the ministries and national institutions have helped the farmers in their work.
Officials and working people of province-level factories and enterprises are mobilizing all pumping equipment to the maximum.
Service personnel's wives, members of the women's union and housewives of neighborhood units in the province are also working hard to protect crops from drought.
