Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spread to Centenarian​

Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Min Jong Suk, a woman centenarian who lives in Jurye-dong, Phyongsong City of South Phyongan Province, on her 100th birthday.

She was born into a poor tenant's family before national liberation and lived a hard life experiencing the sorrow of being stateless. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could lead a genuine life devoting herself to the building of a new country.

She made sincere efforts for the prosperity of society and the happiness of family, took the lead in aiding the army and put efforts into family education to make her children live a worthwhile life at the posts to defend the country.

Even after becoming a pensioner, she doesn't stop working to benefit the country and is still now leading a joyful life in good health under the care of officials, doctors in charge, villagers, family members and relatives.

Saying that she enjoys a long life in good health thanks to the socialist system that makes selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, she always asks her children to do lots of work for the state.
