DPRK Premier Kim Tok Hun Inspects Agricultural Sector in North Phyongan Province
Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected the agricultural sector of North Phyongan Province.
Visiting the Chojang Co-op Farm of Kwaksan County, the premier called upon officials and agricultural workers to reap in time the crops they cultivated with much effort by conducting harvesting and threshing in a proper way.
He, at the food administration stations in Jongju City, Kwaksan County and Pakchon County, called for sprucing up city and county food administration stations, responsibly organizing the work of putting the grain processing on a modern basis and for timely tackling technical problems arising in increasing the operating rate of facilities in order to thoroughly carry out the tasks set forth in the administrative policy of the government of the Republic.
The field consultative meetings stressed the need for farms to concentrate on concluding this year's farming and make full preparations for next year's farming and for the food administration stations to further raise the level of grain drying, storage and quality of processing.
