Many Reserve Cutting Faces Secured in DPRK
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Workers in the coal industry have secured many reserve cutting faces.
Amid a dynamic campaign for speeding up tunneling, the coal complexes and mines under the Ministry of Coal Industry have so far secured 100-odd reserve cutting faces more than those in the same period of last year.
The coal complexes and mines across the country pay attention to generalizing effective sci-tech methods, while making sure that their tunneling teams apply advanced methods based on rock quality analysis to drilling and blasting.
High-speed tunneling units work hard to strengthen their material and technical foundations in a planned way.
They have secured many reserve cutting faces by proactively introducing the tunneling methods, which require less drilling but ensure higher blasting efficiency, and by removing coal muck in time.
