Yangdok Hot Spring Resort in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- The Yangdok Hot Spring Resort in Yangdok County, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK makes a contribution to the people's high civilization and the promotion of their health.

The resort has excellent indoor and outdoor hot springs, skiing ground, riding park, hotel and other areas for medical treatment and sanatorium, sports and cultural bases and welfare service facilities.

It was built thanks to the noble love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the people and his energetic leadership. It is a proud edifice in the era of the Workers' Party as it represents the hot spring culture of the state.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un initiated the construction of a Korean-style comprehensive hot spring resort and guided the whole course of the construction while visiting the construction site several times.

One day in November Juche 108 (2019), he visited the construction site of the resort which nears its completion. He said that the resort is a hot spring treatment center and multi-functional complex sports and cultural recreation centre being built by the Party to promote the people's health and wellbeing and help them enjoy a new cultural and emotional life. He also indicated the tasks to be carried out in the completion of the resort and its operation and management.

That day he called for completing the construction of the riding park as soon as possible so that the working people can enjoy various sports and cultural life and hot spring bathing, and for building a golf course in this area in the future.

The Yangdok Hot Spring Resort was successfully built to open up a new field of cultural and emotional life of the people.
