New Teaching Methods Created in DPRK
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- The secondary general educational sector of the DPRK has introduced new teaching methods suited to the pedagogical requirements.
Secondary education units in Pyongyang City created new useful and superior teaching methods.
East Pyongyang Secondary School No. 1 created a teaching method that helps students acquire new knowledge in the course of independently finding data on the set problems and presenting their solution on the basis of analysis and synthesis made under the guidance of a teacher. This method is conducive to making the students understand the essence of matters and phenomena more quickly and correctly and training them into creative talents with versatile knowledge and application ability.
Changdok School presented a rational method for developing the students' cognitive and analytic ability on a higher level and Pyongyang Foreign Languages School made peculiar visual aids that help the students possess high linguistic ability while acquiring the standard pronunciation of foreign languages.
Secondary education units in local areas, too, are conducting such vigorous works as further improving the instruction effect through introduction of virtual and augmented reality technologies and putting the teaching and experiments and practical training on an IT basis of higher level.
