Educational System of DPRK Introduced by Russian and Cambodian Media


Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Russian and Cambodian media introduced the educational system of the DPRK.

The Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda said:

The universal 12-year compulsory education, the highest level in the world, is being enforced in the DPRK.

This educational system is the one in which the state bears all expenses needed for education.

In particular, the DPRK has paid special attention to the education of gifted children and not spared investment for it.

The Cambodian AKP aired:

The national interest to improve the educational environment and conditions has risen higher at present and the traits of helping educational organs have been established in the DPRK.

The universal 12-year compulsory education system now in force in this country serves as a sure guarantee for raising the general cultural and technical level of society and continuously developing society and economy, and a foundation for training the gifted persons.

Over the fact that a child of the DPRK became a triple Olympic medalist of the International Math Olympiad, lots of educators in the world admire the DPRK as a country which has many talents and the one which is very high in its educational level.
